We are looking for a talented individual to join the Quality Assurance team in Tech. This individual will be a dedicated QA to one team, responsible for ensuring high-quality software is delivered to our customers.
Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop comprehensive test cases (manual and automated) and perform result analysis to ensure quality standards are met.Take ownership of QA processes for assigned project teams, driving excellence in testing and quality assurance.Collaborate with Senior QA Engineers to craft effective strategies and robust test plans.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain seamless system performance.Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to validate solution quality and stability.Interpret and execute moderately complex test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage and accuracy.Enhance the maturity of test cases and test packs, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Review and analyze system specifications to identify potential quality risks and coverage gaps.Define requirements for test environments, data, resources, and tools, and design reusable test scripts for efficient testing cycles.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Relevant IT Tertiary QualificationISEB/ISTQB Foundation QualificationExperience in project management and QA methodology2-5 years testing experience0-2 years of Automation experiencePrevious experience working within a Fintech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferredAPI Testing experience (must have)Experience using API tools like POSTMAN, JMETER, RAPID API, SoapUI, REST-assured, Catalon Studio, ApigeeExperience in CI/CD tools like JenkinsExperience using LinuxAutomation testing experienceExperience working with enterprise-scale application stacksExposure to the full software development lifecycleTECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in database queriesFamiliarity with programming script languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)Excellent analytical skillsCOMPETENCIES / ATTRIBUTES: Strong attention to detailCommitted to delivering high-quality workTaking ownership of work deliveredMotivatedGood problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood communication skills, both oral and writtenPassion for software testing and the SDLC
