Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a highly experienced Fitter & Turner.
You must be trade tested with at least 5years post qualification experience.Requirements: • Trade Test - Fitter and Turner is required • Valid Driver's Licence with own transport • 5yrs working experience as a Fitter and Turner in manufacturing or engineering environment is essential • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SHIFTS
Responsibilities: • Preventative Maintenance• Use and read all types of measuring equipment • Understand the working principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Attend to all machine breakdowns • Interpret technical drawings • Perform machine settings and changes when requested • Identify quality issues and report • Updating and control of Engineering drawings • Housekeeping in the maintenance areas • Team Player • Good communication skills • Strong mechanical knowledge
