Fitter & Turner - Food Manufacturing

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join our client's team in the food manufacturing industry.
Our client is a reputable company that specializes in the production of high-quality food products.
As a Fitter & Turner, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of components for food processing and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on food processing and packaging equipment Fabricate components for breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment Setup and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders Perform drilling and machining tasks Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workshop Adhere to safety and quality standards Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent Trade Certificate as a Fitter & Turner Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry Strong knowledge and experience in operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to detail and quality Benefits Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
