Motus FORD GERMISTON has an opportunity available for a Fitter. Reporting to the Service Manager, the person in this role will be expected to perform activities by installing approved accessories accurately as per agreed OEM standard operating procedures and requirements.
Position Overview
The purpose of the role is to perform activities by installing approved accessories accurately as per agreed OEM standard operating procedures and requirements.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreements.
Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
Fit customised accessories to vehicles as per OEM requirements and procedures.
Identify and apply known solutions to operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues.
Record and report on work activities to provide timely and accurate information for decision making in area of accountability.
Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise efficiencies and reduce unnecessary delays in achieving goals of the office.
Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers' expectations in the business.
Deliver work activities effectively to satisfy customers.
Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills.
Own and live up to company values.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
2 years' experience in a similar role within an automotive retail or related work environment.
Must have 2 plus years experience in installing tow bars, bull bars, nudge bars, long range tanks, tonneau covers as well as other related accessory fitments and have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Role also entails adhoc driving therefore MUST have a valid, unendorsed drivers license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive.
Computer literacy is essential.
