Fitter – Automotive Industry

Overview Hire Resolve's client is looking for a skilled Fitter to join their team in the automotive industry in the Western Cape region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, installing, and repairing various components in vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.Responsibilities: Inspect vehicles to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repairsFit and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components in vehicles according to manufacturer specificationsRepair and replace faulty parts, such as brakes, suspension systems, and enginesConduct diagnostic tests to identify potential problems and recommend solutionsPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotationsEnsure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to safety protocolsKeep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles Requirement: Trade certification in Automotive, Engineering, or a relevant fieldN4 or higher Mechanical qualificationProven experience as a Fitter in the automotive industryStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge of automotive systems and componentsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsDetail-oriented with a high level of precision in workmanshipStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
