Ceres Fruit Growers (Pty) Ltd , one of the leading fruit packing and marketing companies in SA, requires an energetic and professional individual to join their team based in Ceres .
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Maintenance of carton erecting machinery Assisting production department with setup of carton erecting machinery General maintenance/modification of pack house machinery, including conveyors, hydraulic machines, pumps, graders and general mechanical items Welding and sheet metalwork Fitting and turning Supervision of apprentices and general workers All other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Completed apprenticeship with appropriate N3 qualification; Minimum 3 years' relevant experience; Proven supervisory skills; Relevant experience in a fruit packing plant and with carton erecting machinery will be advantageous; Willingness to perform after-hour standby duties and night shift on a rotational basis during the peak season.
