Fit Tour Consultant

IF YOU HAVE:Tertiary qualificationAt least 2 years experience at a tour-operator companyAbility to compile and quote itineraries based on clients' needsLiaising with agents on requests, bookings, etc.Maintaining good relationships with agents and clientsOperate tours (groups series, once-off groups, FIT's, MICE) from start to finish and take responsibility for all aspects of tours, including the accounting sideEnsure that all company procedures are followed correctly (incl filing systems, system updates, etc)Understand Lemax & Wetu. Train to be fully operational on the operations system (LEMAX)Understanding and ability to use Google (Meet, Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc)Take initiative and ensure attention to detailPut together Guide Manual and all supporting documentation as well as briefing and debriefing of guidesPut together detailed Travel documents with regard to FIT travellersTeamwork and enthusiasm to assist colleaguesContributing to team targetsEnergetic and have a passion for learning about travelTime management: ability to prioritise, plan and meet deadlinesEffective verbal and written communication - internally as well as externallyBe professional and offer high service levels at all timesAbility to handle pressure and volume - be able to multitaskGeneral administration such as filingSolving problems and/or help finding solutions for problemsAssist with crisis managementAssist with handling of complaints by gathering feedback from suppliers, guides, etcAssist with annual tour series/once-off costings and proposalsEstablish a home Office Setup & ability to work from home full timeAttend meetings and other commitments online and in-person at Cape Town address as and when necessaryMaintain a good product knowledge (accommodation, activities, transport, routings etc) of South Africa and neighbouring countriesPlease send your CV to ******.
