They emphasize compliance with current regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge.Company USP'sEmployee Owned Trust (EOT): Empowering employees by involving them in the company's ownership.High-End Projects: Secured by reputation, quality work, and word-of-mouth.Investment in Apprenticeships: Currently supporting 27 apprentices across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation: Install fire detection and security alarm systems, including emergency lighting, remote monitoring, intruder alarms, access controls, intercoms, and nurse call systems.Maintenance: Provide ongoing reactive maintenance and repair services.Collaboration: Work closely with Contract Managers to ensure timely completion and rescheduling of works.Support: Assist customers and support company operations, including sales, administration, and other areas as needed.Supervision and Technical Support: Offer guidance and technical support to colleagues and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.Compliance: Adhere to company guidelines and standards of work.Follow-Up: Ensure necessary follow-up actions and recommendations to clients are referred to the appropriate person.Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and manner in line with client and company expectations.Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.Training: Attend training courses and meetings, overseeing the development of colleagues.Health and Safety: Follow company Health and Safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.Additional Duties: Perform other engineering and servicing-related duties as determined by management.Essential Skills3-5 years' experience in a fire & security role.Manufacturer training in leading fire & security systems.Background in installation, service, and maintenance engineering.Desirable SkillsBasic programming knowledge of specific systems such as Advanced Electronics, HAES, Kentec, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Paxton, Control Soft, Videcon, Hikvision.Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to suggest appropriate actions.Experience in domestic and commercial environments.City and Guilds 236 parts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent experience.17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification.Clean, valid driving license.Basic hand tools.Personal AttributesHardworking, flexible, and positive attitude.Adaptable, comfortable with problem-solving autonomously, and managing varying daily routines.Respect for health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers.Salary & BenefitsSalary: £38k - £42k (DOE).Company van and fuel card.Company mobile phone and relevant IT equipment.20 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, with an additional day for every 2 years of service (up to 25 days).Pension scheme enrollment after 3 months of service.Cycle scheme.Tech scheme.Long-service awards.Enhanced overtime rates.Callout retainer for Engineers.Travel time paid one way – from home/main office to site (whichever is nearer).Please call Sunil on (phone number removed) and email your CV to prompt a call back.
