Key Responsibility Areas Identifies and defines the immediate, short and long term objectives/plans of the branch.Applies civil engineering principles to provide direction on the technical design and construction of a variety of operations.Disseminates strategic, functional and operational information on the immediate, short and long term objectives.Co-ordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements.Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization productivity and performance of personnel within the branch.Prepares capital and operating estimates for the branch and approves and controls operational and project related expenditure against budget allocations.Manages the formulation of contracts and tender documents and controls contractual obligations.Essential Requirements BSc (Engineering) Degree (NQF level 8).Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa.Valid motor vehicle driving license.8 Years post registration Civil Engineering experience in water and sanitation.Computer Literacy.Preferred Requirements 9 Years post registration Civil Engineering experience in water and sanitation disciplines.Engineering / Technical jobs.
