Job Description KEY ROLE: WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer who specializes in Water and Wastewater Engineering for infrastructure projects to expand the growth of our expertise and technical capability. We support clients and projects throughout Africa and the UK with a focus on high profile infrastructure projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering Management and Project Management of water and wastewater projectsDesign of water and wastewater related infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment processesCompiling of tender and contractual documents, design reports, and due diligence reportsManagement of Water Conservation and Water Demand Management (WCWDM) projectsGrow client relationships and attend client progress meetingsProject management and interfacing with other engineering disciplines on multi-disciplinary projectsKeep up to date with industry advances, and be aware of policy and technical developments in this disciplineHEALTH AND SAFETY: Upholding standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental and quality vision and policies by influencing those around you.
Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of a B Eng. / BSc (Civil Eng)ECSA Registration (Pr Eng) will be an advantageMinimum 5-7 years' experience in the water and wastewater engineering industryKnowledge of the relevant standards, regulations, and legislation in the water fieldExperience in master planning, feasibility, and design aspects of water projectsExperience in Water Conservation and Water Demand Management (WCWDM)Experience in water strategic advisory servicesExperience in water infrastructure asset managementKEY COMPETENCIES AND GENERIC SKILLS: Team playerStrong analytical abilityTakes ownership and accountability with the ability to deliver requested work within deadlinesGood engineering judgementExhibits leadership (technical or managerial)Be able to prioritize, work on several tasks and work under pressure
