Senior Civil Design Engineer We are looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join the Mining Infrastructure Department of a top consulting firm's Johannesburg office.
You will be responsible for managing civil design mine infrastructure projects. This includes storm water management infrastructure (dams, canals), bulk earthworks (terraces and platforms), roads (gravel, mine haul roads, dragline walkways), mine waste disposal facilities, tailings facilities and more.
Responsibilities: Managing the design teamInterfacing with the clientChecking and approving deliverablesCompiling design reports, project study inputs, bill of quantities, project specifications, etc.Desired Experience & Qualification: BEng. BSc. Eng. Civil Engineering or higher7 or more years relevant experienceGood understanding and knowledge of soil mechanicsExperience in the designing of mining related infrastructureExperience in Civil 3DProfessionally registered with ECSA
