Our client is seeking a Registered Manager for one of their Children's Homes.
Responsibilities:Effectively manage a team of staff providing care for children & young people in a residential setting, and the resources within the team.Ensure that the care provided is of the highest quality in an environment which supports and encourages children to reach their full potential.Prioritise and allocate work within the team.Provide good quality and timely support and supervision for team members.Ensure performance review development are carried out.Ensure that documentation, record keeping, accounting, and communication is maintained within the team.Ensure the health and safety of staff and individuals, and the safety of equipment and operations within the team.Manage delegated budgets, to enable support for individual care plans.Respond to and ensure appropriate action is taken following internal and external inspections, audits, complaints, and investigations.Safeguard and promote the welfare of the cared for children and young people.Encourage appropriate behaviour and manage challenging behaviour both within and outside the home.Requirements:UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance.Level 5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management.Must have recent management of staff experience, as a Registered Manager of a Children's Home.Detailed knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Safeguarding frameworks.Experience of working with young people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences.Experience of supporting management of budgets.Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service.Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
