This hybrid role offers flexible office hours, allowing you to work both remotely and on-site. You will play a key role in managing and designing mechanical projects across various industries, including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and water and waste treatment plants.
Job Description:Develop mechanical designs, scope of work, and specifications for projects in pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, manufacturing, and water/wastewater sectors.Coordinate project teams to ensure schedules and deliverables are met.Manage project schedules, costs, and procurement processes.Liaise with clients and suppliers on technical matters, contracts, and project updates.Prepare purchase specifications, and bills of quantities, and evaluate tenders.Oversee drafting, procurement, and contractor management during construction.Skills & Experience:Minimum 8 – 10 years' work experienceContract experience in FIDIC, NEC, and CIDBKnowledge and applications of OHSAProficient in MS projects and MS OfficeQualification:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ BTech/ S4Postgraduate qualification in Project Management advOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
