Reporting to Sales Manager: Dermatology Job Purpose: To call on General Practitioners, Dermatologists, Pediatricians, Pharmacists, and Dermatology registrars at state hospitals.
Required Learning: Tertiary qualification: Science Degree (BSc and BPharm)Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint)A valid driver's licensePreferably have solid relationships with target audience and a full understanding of performance drivers including metrics around market share and EI.Very good understanding, knowledge, and insight within identified therapeutic area, i.e., Dermatology.A minimum of 3 years successful experience as a Medical Sales Rep in the identified therapeutic area.Previous experience in Dermatology will be an advantage.Previous experience in Pretoria South East will be an advantage.Proven track record in sales will be key.Proven track record in meeting input targets.Key Job Outputs: To establish and maintain excellent relationships with key customers & decision makers.To consistently achieve Market Share and growth objectives for area.Successful implementation of marketing strategies.Meet all sales, customer coverage, and activity objectives.To respond adequately & professionally to customer complaints & queries.Diligent reporting as required by line manager.To efficiently manage expenses.Clear understanding of ROI and own territory.Ability to reason and be innovative.Demonstrated problem-solving ability.Ability to read, understand, and communicate key outputs of clinical trials.Ability to work individually as well as in a team setting.Ability to analyze and interpret data and put in action a plan to address deficiencies.
