Job Description:
Supervise team members. Effective shop floor planning. Spare parts control. Continuous development of artisans and assistance on all plant equipment.
Job Requirements:
Grade 12 and NQF Level 6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Qualified Millwright/Fitter. Minimum 3-5 years of plant equipment maintenance with press and assembly experience in the automotive manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
Knowledge Required:
Full ability to understand all hydraulic/pneumatic & mechanical drawings pertaining specifically to plant machinery. Control/pressure relief/safety hydraulic valve experience. Quality specifications and systems. Rigging. Basic engineering repair knowledge. Computer literate. Hydraulic/mechanical seal knowledge or application. Torquing of bolts and nuts. Presenting and writing reports. Understanding of discipline and grievance procedures.
