Position: Service Delivery Manager, IT Service Operations, IT Services
Job Type: MSP, Software House / Vendor continuous improvement
Salary: Up to 80K – office based job.
Are you a visionary within IT Service Delivery? Can you create an ITIL service delivery environment from scratch? Do you have excellent external customer engagement?
ROLE: Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be their right hand in respect of Service Delivery and will be a visionary in delivering a world-class IT service. This is not a man-management role. This is all about delivering the service, strategy consolidation, and continuous improvement. We need an IT Service Delivery Manager who is used to working in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, dealing with IT & Engineering professionals at the top of their game, and has managed change control & problem management in dynamic IT departments.
You must have extensive ITIL experience and have walked this path in creating a fully operational ITIL service environment. This is about being proactive as well as reactive.
The onboarding with this company is second to none and you will benefit from some excellent training. From the Service Delivery perspective and creating this ITIL service environment, we are looking for you to take the lead. You must be able to talk confidently and give real-world examples of when you have previously walked this path and seen such projects from start to finish. You know the pain points, you have experienced the highs & lows, and challenges that come with such a project but as a result, this role will also come with autonomy, respect, and a great future.
KEY to this ROLE: ITIL, Customer Centric, Engaging, Communication, Forward-thinking, Stakeholder management, Analytical, Visual.
This is not a man-management role now but with plans in the pipeline for serious growth, you could end up taking your career into senior management where building a team becomes part of it – Exciting times.
