Well known private hospital group requires an experienced Billing Auditor to join their team.
The Billings Assessor / Auditor will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute billings Auditor's duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Diploma Nursing2-3 years experience in Billings environmentAdvanced Computer LiteracySAP will be an advantageMinimum Duties Perform Billings Auditing duties in accordance with the standard and procedure.Adhere to the principles and standards of patient care.Review and analyse reports as a management tool, in order to identify negative trends and implement corrective action.Optimize the billing of products by the Hospital and in line with company requirements and contractual arrangements with Medical Schemes.Perform End of Case on the approved system.Ensure the accurate maintenance of supplier invoices.Efficient management of Billing processes specific to private patients, final bill invoices on the SAP system as 'paper' claim and forward patient files to the collections department for further management.Audit Patient files as per Company requirement and in accordance with the Company contracts with Medical Schemes.Adhere to reporting standards by analysing information and reports, identifying trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making.
