We are seeking a motivated and experienced Training Manager to oversee the development and implementation of training programs for an international clinical research company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training initiatives to ensure all staff meet company and regulatory standards in clinical research. This role focuses on internal employee development and compliance with clinical research protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience developing and delivering training programs and have strong knowledge of clinical research and regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMA, and health authority guidelines in Africa. This position is remote, with occasional travel required.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Life Sciences, or a related field (required). An advanced degree in Education, Training, or a related field is preferred.5-7 years of experience developing and delivering training programs, ideally in clinical research, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.Proven experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and familiarity with clinical trial processes and regulations.Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and creating e-learning modules is a plus.Strong knowledge of clinical research and regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMA, and health authority guidelines in Africa.Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of clinical research professionals, aligning with GCP guidelines and company policies.Curriculum Management: Develop and update training curriculums, including e-learning modules and in-person workshops, in collaboration with subject matter experts.Training Delivery: Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, facilitating workshops on clinical protocols, research ethics, and compliance.Compliance and Certification: Ensure all training meets industry-specific regulations, track employee certifications, and prepare for external audits.Monitoring and Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, updating materials as needed.Team Leadership: Manage a team of training coordinators and collaborate with HR, clinical operations, and quality assurance teams to align training with organizational needs.Training Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and certifications, and prepare reports for senior management.
