Job description : To provide administrative assistance and support on personal & commercial claims business.
Responsibilities : Liaising and providing feedback to clients of claim progressHandling client queriesClaims Management: the daily claims process from capturing received claims to processing and closing claims.Validating the claims (consultant must first check if the claim falls within the policy parameters)Registering claimsCollecting additional information from clients in respect of the claimsRecording details and information on relevant systemsBuilding and maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersBridging the gap between the office and insurance companiesMaintaining a good working relationship with insurersReportingGood underwriting knowledge and understandingUnderstanding policy wording and various productsMinimum Requirements : Grade 12 / MatricNQF Level 4 – Full qualification (short-term insurance) as set by regulationRegulatory examination (Representatives) RE5 successfully completedA minimum of 2-3 years´ claims experienceFully computer literate (Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel and Outlook)Competencies : Good verbal and written communication skillsGood administration skillsPlanning and organising skillsTime management skillsResilient with a good level of stress toleranceHighly client focused with good interpersonal skillsAdditional Information : Employment type : Full-time
