Financial Stock Accountant – Jhb

This position is to oversee the full Accounting Function of the company and to assist the Financial Manager when necessary. Previously worked as an Accountant and Management of staff is required. Below requirements are not limited to:Diploma / Bachelors of Commerce in AccountingSage Accpac (300) experienceAdvanced ExcelIFRS StandardsStock managementPeople managementHands on approachProblem solvingTime managementBanking and cash experience of local and foreignProperty plant & equipment – asset verificationAccounts receivable – reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to general ledgerAccounts payable – creditor reconciliations, paymentsVAT – monthly VAT 201 submissions and reconciliationsProcurement – completion and submission of month consumption ordersInternal controls – ensure sufficient controls are in placeInventory – review requisitions and create stock codesExpense analysisMonthly payroll journalsAssist with month-end and quarterly reportingBBBEE & ESG Sustainability reportingHealth & Safety
