Financial Reporting Manager

Our client is a leading provider of learning and development solutions, dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to achieve their full potential. The company specialises in creating innovative, technology-driven solutions that drive performance and growth. They are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their finance team in Cape Town.
In this role you will collaborate with senior management and external partners to support the company's financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies.Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Collaborate with teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Qualifications and Experience:Qualified CA(SA) or CGMA required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of IFRS.Proven experience in managing financial reporting processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems such as Power BI or Qlikview is beneficial.Salary and Benefits:R800 000 - R900 000 per annum, highly dependent on candidate experience.Hybrid/Remote working (mostly remote).
