Financial Reporting : Head

We are seeking for a dynamic professional to head a Finance department, ensuring operational efficiency and accurate financial reporting.
This leadership role is ideal for a skilled financial expert with a strong technical background and the drive to inspire a team.
Responsibilities: Developing and implementing operational controls for financial efficiencyEnsuring compliance with financial policies, manuals, and legislative requirementsPreparing IFRS-compliant Annual Financial Statements and managing stakeholder reportingOverseeing tax compliance and implementing new accounting standardsSupervising team members, coordinating with auditors, and managing stakeholder relationshipsSupporting strategic financial resource management and reporting to the CFO Requirements: A qualified CA(SA) with at least five years of post-article experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the financial or insurance industryExpertise in IFRS, tax legislation, auditing, and financial analysisProficiency in advanced Excel and accounting systems like AX Microsoft DynamicsExceptional leadership skills, including inspirational leadership, change management, and business acumenEE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
