Financial Reporting Analyst - Mining - Sandton

Our client, an international mining company, has an opportunity for a highly qualified and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join their company in their Sandton offices.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all monthly, quarterly and year end deadlines are met.Required to work on the 1st-7th day of each month no matter what day of the week it is.Managing the external auditors.Assisting with the quarterly board reporting and monthly group reporting on HFM.Assisting with the accounting of key areas such as share based payments, hedging, borrowing costs, decommissioning and restoration and ensuring compliance with DMRE regulations around the same.Assisting with the impairment modelling for all operating assets.Experience & QualificationsCA(SA).5 - 8 years post article experience in a finance reporting role.Strong IFRS knowledge.Experienced in preparing financial statements.Advantageous Experience: Internal control, SAP, Sage, Caseware and Mining industry.Problem solver, strong communicator & relationship builder.Team player, proactive, creative & innovative.Salary: Market Related
