Ascot Wealth Management South Africa is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Paraplanner to support our team of advisors.The Paraplanner will be working closely with an experienced Wealth Manager and their team, handling the day-to-day paraplanning duties, meeting deadlines and ensuring the smooth running of their meetings by maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving engagement and positive outcomes.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of financial plans and presentations for clientsConduct research and analysis on pensions, investments, insurance products, and financial planning strategiesPrepare and maintain client financial planning and investment databasesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning, investment, and insurance productsCollaborate with the team of advisors to ensure clients' needs are metMaintain client files and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurateAssist with client communication and follow-up as neededMeeting arranging, booking and administrationRequirements:Strong attention to detail and financial analytics skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to take initiative and work independently as neededProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelCFP designation or progress towards obtaining the designation is a plusWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
