Role• Daily Balancing and Reconciliation of all transactions processed via the various Systems as a Financial Administrative service.• Balancing and reconciliation items to be reflected with 100% accuracy in terms of all transactions processed.• Ensure immediate corrective actions in terms of reconciliation / balancing items.Duties & Responsibilities• Daily Balancing and Reconciliation of all transactions processed via the various Systems as a Financial Administrative service.• Balancing and reconciliation items to be reflected with 100% accuracy in terms of all transactions processed.• Ensure immediate corrective actions in terms of reconciliation / balancing items.Desired Experience & QualificationMinimum Requirements:• Must live within surrounding Pretoria areas.• Willing to work overtime.• Perform standby duties.• Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable transport (preferably own transportation).• Have clear Credit and Criminal Records.Skills and Experience:• Financial Professional with extensive experience in reconciliations with at least 5+ years' experience in a similar role handling Bank and Cashbook reconciliations.• Extensive experience in: • Interbank ATM – SASWITCH experience. • Interbank POS - Debit Switch. • Realtime Clearing.• Extensive experience in and a thorough understanding of the Card Switching and Payments Processing - very advantageous.• A thorough understanding of BankServ Africa Rules, Service Level Agreements and Guidelines in respect of Financial Institutions and Industry participants as both Issuer and Acquiring Institutions – very advantageous.• Back office and Reconciliation experience focusing on Interbank related Card Switching and Payment Services advantageous.• Experience in general balancing and reconciliation functions.• Experience in bank settlement reconciliations.• Experience in Dispute Management Systems will be advantageous.• Banking experience advantageous.Education and Qualifications:• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.• Matric or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education & Training.
