The company is seeking a skilled Financial Officer to join its team.Role OverviewThe Financial Officer is responsible for:Daily balancing and reconciliation of all transactions processed via various systems as part of financial administration.Ensuring 100% accuracy in balancing and reconciliation, covering all processed transactions.Taking immediate corrective action for any reconciliation or balancing discrepancies.The RequirementsSkills and ExperienceExtensive experience (5+ years):Bank and cashbook reconciliations.EFT transactions and reconciliations.Interbank ATM (SASWITCH) and POS (Debit Switch) processing.Realtime Clearing processes.Thorough understanding:Visa, MasterCard, and other Card Associations.BankServ Africa rules and guidelines.Service Level Agreements for financial institutions.Advantageous experience:Card switching and payments processing.Interbank-related card switching and payment services.Back office and reconciliation experience.Dispute Management Systems.General banking knowledge.Additional capabilities:General balancing and reconciliation functions.Bank settlement reconciliations.Qualifications Required:Matric or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education and Training.Preferred:BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
