ROLE DESCRIPTIONDeveloping bankable project finance and corporate finance modelsConducting evaluations of financial modelsPerforming in-depth financial analysis, including Cost-Benefit analysisReviewing financial data, spreadsheets, budgets and reports, and translating quantitative information into easily communicable findings or implicationsConducting in-depth risk analysisFinancial structuring - working with Public- and Private- sector clients to achieve successful bid submissions and financial close for their infrastructure projects.Developing a financing strategy and securing financeMust be able to assist the practice teams with post-delivery financial model scenario analysis and further model refinement based on an understanding of the project and the financial modelWork closely with clients to assess and deliver needs of client projectsSeek opportunities and generate pipeline workGrow and manage a team of modeling professionals QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCERequiredDegree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting or Actuarial Science5- 7 years experience in finance with at least 3 years in financial modelling within the public sector and ideally within transport / infrastructure investment spaceExperience in a consulting environmentBroad financial services industry exposureA demonstrable track record in project or infrastructure finance, financial structuring, public sector financing, investment banking, business planning, project financial modelling and accountingProven and highly competent user of financial modelling software and tools and excellent skills in MS ExcelAbility to manage, grow and direct a teamExperience working on international projects (particularly in Africa) with a reputable consulting or financial firm in a similar roleExposure to financial strategy or structuring in the development sector Please email CVs to Nicole Spamers:
