Job Description The Financial Manager of Agri Processors will be responsible for the overall management of the group's financial function, projects, budgets as well as the compliance of the group.
Requirements Relevant BCom/ BAcc DegreeQualified CA (Chartered Accountant)Applicable experience in a fast-moving environmentPrevious experience within the processing side of agriculture will serve as recommendationProficient in the MS Office package with the ability to work with Excel on an advanced levelKnowledge of Microsoft Navision/Business Central will serve as recommendationDuties and Responsibilities Overall management of the treasurer function within the Agri-Processors GroupCompilations of the Agri-Processors Group Financial Results to VKB's Shareholders, Board of Directors and other StakeholdersSubmission VKB Agri-Processors' Group Operational- and Capital Budgets to the Directors for approvalEnsure that financial reporting throughout Agri-Processors is standardisedEnsure that Agri-Processors Group Financial Statement are accurately compiledEnsure that all the relevant financial departments comply with legislation and the VKB Group's Policies and ProceduresEvaluate investments / projectsApproval of material transactionsDesign and implement uniform controls and proceduresDesign and implement systemsOverall risk management within the groupNegotiation of terms and conditions with suppliersManagement of Credit riskComply to VKB Agri-Processors EE & BBBEE Targets on a continuous basisCreate an environment within the group that aids in the successful implementation of POPIA
