Financial Manager - Tygervalley (Cape Town)

Our client, a leader in their field, is looking for a dynamic Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial and tax compliance, reporting and internal controls for the Group.Responsibilities include: Managing internal control procedures and compliance to accounting standards and legislationProposing and implementing improved control procedures as requiredFinalising and reviewing annual financial statements of all Group entitiesMonitoring working capital, managing capex spend vs. budget and reporting on variancesMitigating foreign exchange fluctuationsPreparing management accounts, Exco and quarterly Board packsManaging the annual budget process and bi-annual forecastsCollating all reports for Group management reporting and preparing Group financial reportsMeeting all statutory and year end reporting requirementsManaging all insurance requirementsProviding effective leadership of the finance team and performance outcomesRequirements: B.Comm in Accounting with registration as Professional Accountant (SAIPA) or CA (SA) or CIMA5 years experience as a Financial Manager, with a proven track record of success in managing a finance teamKnowledge of SysproAdvanced skills in MS OfficeStrategic and commercial mindsetExcellent communication, problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to work with multiple deadlines and under pressure to accomplish business objectives
