Financial Manager Job DescriptionThe financial manager will have a team of accountants and clerks reporting to them. They will oversee the daily accounting process of the business as well as be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. As a financial manager, you will be expected to provide a high standard of financial and business reports and analysis that will assist the executives in making key decisions for the business.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily processing for the finance teamReview of monthly reconciliationsTreasury managementMonth end process completion (including monthly journals preparation)Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingPrepare and run annual audit and financial statementsFinancial analysisProcess improvementEnsure company compliance with IFRSAdhoc projects as assigned by MDDesired Experience & QualificationQualifications:Matric (required)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredSAIPA/CIMA advantageExperience:3 – 5 years of experienceStrong experience in financial analysis and reportingAdvanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tablesSAGE and Pastel Partner experienceAbility to develop financial and operational models
