POSITION : Financial ManagerLOCATION : Ormonde, JHB SouthKey Responsibilities:Leading the Company financial teamTake responsibility for the overall financial function of the DivisionManage and control Company financial related activitiesParticipate in and set the strategic direction of the DivisionDevise and implement the strategy, goals and targets for the financial function in line with Company StrategyBuild relations with relevant stakeholders including Shareholders, Bankers, Auditors, Regulatory Authority etc.Maintain and improve Company finance systems, procedures, processes and infrastructureEnsure that Company meets its regulatory and legal obligations in general but specifically related to the financial aspects of the businessEnsure the Finance team delivers in line with specific deadlines including Group Financial Reports, Year-End Financials, Audit Information, Budget, Risk Reports, Tax Submissions, and Sustainability ReportsFulfil fiduciary duties including tax complianceProject Management and implementationRequired Qualifications / Attributes / Skills:Relevant Financial qualification at an appropriate level for the seniority of the positionExtensive experience in all aspects of the financial function as required in the positionExtensive working knowledge and experience in using Excel and Financial computer-based systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and administrative skillsProven track record in building and leading a teamProven track record in meeting deadlines and delivering under pressureDriver's license and own transportClean credit and criminal recordPreferred Qualifications / Attributes / Skills:CA(SA) or B Com Accounting Honors or equivalent Financial QualificationPrevious experience as a Financial Manager or similar positionExperience in the property industry
