Financial Manager - Mining Engineering ~ Mining & MineralsLocation: Bloemfontein - Free StateMy Client is a growing mining company, requiring the skill of a dynamic finance and accounting professional to hold the role of Finance Manager.Minimum RequirementsCA professional qualification5+ years relevant financial management experienceJob Description:Compile annual financial statementsHandle the annual audit process without assistanceHandle the annual BEE renewal processHandle the annual workplace skills submission processMonthly cash flow management and paymentsPerforming and reviewing reconciliations (Debtors, creditors, bank, GL, etc)Calculating, reconciling and filing VAT, provisional, income tax and other taxesFinalising accounts and trial balance in order to compile monthly management accountsFinalising accounts and trial balance in order to compile annual financial statements at year endDesirables:Post qualification finance and accounting experience in a Finance Operations / Controller roles within the Mining environmentGood all round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and IFRSListing experience would be a strong advantageExperienced in ERP systems both use and implementationProficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and AccessMust be open to travel (travel allowance will be provided)
