Financial Manager -Mining

My Client is a growing mining company, requiring the skill of a dynamic finance and accounting professional to hold the role of Finance Manager
Minimum requirements
• CA professional qualification
• 5+ years' relevant financial management experience
Job Description:
Compile annual financial statements • Handle the annual audit process without assistance
• Handle the annual BEE renewal process
• Handle the annual workplace skills submission process
• Other ad hoc statutory requirements
• Monthly cash flow management and payments.
• Performing and reviewing reconciliations (Debtors, creditors, bank, GL, etc)
• Calculating, reconciling and filing VAT, provisional, income tax and other taxes
• Finalising accounts and trial balance in order to compile monthly management accounts.
• Finalising accounts and trial balance in order to compile annual financial statements at year end.
Desirables:
• Post qualification finance and accounting experience in a Finance Operations / Controller roles within the Mining environment is required
• Good all round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and IFRS
• Listing experience would be a strong advantage
• Experienced in ERP systems both use and implementation, proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
• Must be open to Travel(travel allowance will be provided)
