Financial Manager – Lcfm

Main job function

Financial and management accounting
Preparation of year-end and monthly closings according local GAAP
Treasury tasks
Contact to auditors, tax consultants, banks and authorities
Reporting and communication to Germany-based group headquarter (group financial statement and management reporting)
Preparation of periodic planning and forecasting
Analysis and reporting support of regional senior management and regional business functions
Support of business development
Continuous optimization of accounting, controlling and reporting processes and ERP-Systems (SAP B1) in alignment to group requirements

Profile:

Successfully completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering with a focus on controlling/accounting or a comparable qualification
professional experience in the area of accounting/controlling of an industrial company supported by In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations in commercial and tax law
Working experience in an international business environment & business group organization
Self-responsible way of working
Good communication and teamwork skills as well as creativity and open-mindedness
Confidence in using the PC and common MS programs (especially MS Excel)
SAP knowledge SAP B1

Qualifications

Degree or Honors degree in Accounting or finance related field
Qualification in Business Administrator will be an advantage

Other
The candidate needs to be Durban based.
We are not too worried about gender or race.
We are based in Riverhorse Valley, Durban.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00
No working on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
There might be a bit of travelling involved to our offices in JHB once or twice a quarter, where the expenses of such travel will be covered by us.
Remuneration: R 400K – R 900K
