Financial Manager

Reference: 9497 CM Consultant: ChristaMostert Job Description: The incumbent will take responsibility for the full financial function for 19 entities. Management of accounting team of 5 employees consisting of Accountant, 2 creditors clerks, office clerk and the HR Practitioner. Board and Stakeholder reports Monthly Management Statements, and involvement and supervising of accounting team processing. Payroll system set-up, review and supervising of processing Preparation and submission of EMP201, EMP501, IRP5's, ETI's Preparation, submission and reconciliation of VAT SARS eFiling and SARS Easyfile Construction Guarantees Handling of insurance. Liaising with SARS, Bank, Auditors and Information Technology providers Audit file preparation BEE scorecard involvement Company Secretarial Duties Qualifications: Minimum educational level – SAIPA or CIMA qualification or CIBA registered Experience – minimum 10 -15 years. Tax Practitioner registration or experience in the role of tax practitioner. Experience in accounting in the Construction and Property Development industry will be advantageous. Experience/knowledge of the BuildSmart computer package will be an added advantage. Communication skills Organisational abilities – must be excellent.
