Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of both our abattoir and farm activities. Responsibilities include: Managing the debtors and creditors departments Overseeing the treasury function Managing intercompany loans and reconciliations Handling exports accounting and FEC functions Managing insurance processes Continuously improving financial processes and controls Documenting critical processes and self-audit functions Managing provisions and accruals Conducting balance sheet reconciliations Preparing and analyzing monthly management results Managing the fixed asset register Preparing the annual budget Assisting with the preparation of financial statements Preparing audit documents Assisting the CEO with additional requests and projects as needed Skills & Qualifications: CA (SA) is a prerequisite 2-3 years of commercial work experience Strong accounting skills Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team Reliable own transport is essential If you are a hard-working individual who is ready to take on new challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you
