Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Review and analyze financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Lead the preparation of VAT returns, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting. Support costing, budgeting, and financial planning processes. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals. Requirements: BCom Honours or CA(SA) qualification. 5 years post-articles experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or related industry. Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Syspro) and tools such as Power BI. Proven experience in VAT returns, BOM calculations, and month-end processes. Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
