We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a BCom Honours Degree and completed articles (preferably from a small firm) to bring their expertise in financial management, reporting, and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts, and year-end financial statements Manage and improve financial systems and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct cost analysis, assist with production costing, and support the business in optimizing operational efficiency Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI for enhanced decision-making and reporting Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring effective team performance and development Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely submission of audit requirements VAT returns, tax compliance, and review of general ledger reconciliations Key Requirements: BCom Honours Degree with completed articles (preferably from a small firm) 3-5 years of post-articles experience in the manufacturing industry Proficiency in Power BI for financial analysis and reporting Strong knowledge of financial management, cost accounting, and compliance requirements Experience with financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end processes Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both financial and non-financial stakeholders Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team Location: Johannesburg East Apply Now If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
