Financial Manager

The successful incumbent will be responsible for executing all finance and reporting functions for South African and Namibian entities. Primary responsibility for this role will be to provide accurate and complete financial information, analyse accounting data, prepare reports, perform close processes and consolidation. Duties Include: Review journal entries, balance sheet recons Maintain fixed asset registers Prepare monthly profit and loss statements Perform variance analysis on GL accounts Manage close processes Oversight of creditors and debtors reporting Summarize financial status by collecting information Assist in preparation of board reports and group reporting packs Preparation of annual financial statements Manage external audits, addressing and solving audit queries Manage financial governance and control processes Process improvement Manage and guide finance team staff Comply with financial legal requirements (Tax, VAT, IFRS) Prepare budgets for RSA and Namibia Assist the Finance Executive with ad hoc projects Education: CA(SA) qualified Job Experience & Skills Required: 5 to 7 years post-articles experience within a financial management position, and a strong focus on reporting is essential Logistics or courier industry experience preferred Expert Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical skills Strong understanding of financial business processes Business acumen Meticulous attention to detail Deadline driven Apply now For more finance jobs, please visit www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
