Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial management operations across multiple manufacturing plants and joint ventures.
The role focuses on optimizing processes, leveraging technology, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end financial performance, consolidate, analyze, and present monthly financial results, and assess the impact of cost or commodity changes.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business case development, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Implement and enhance business reporting processes, control systems, and management information strategies.
Drive standardization and automation of reporting formats, schedules, and dashboards.
Manage cost optimization programs, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
Enforce financial controls, IT policies, and material control procedures in line with corporate governance.
Ensure effective governance of stock management, assessing deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Oversee asset management, including the maintenance of physical and fixed assets, monitoring stock conversion cycles, and managing capital approval processes.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, representing financial results and strategies, and building effective networks across the organization.
Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring that team members are supported, coached, and developed.

High proficiency in MS Office and SAP, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Strategic and tactical leadership skills.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, including people management.
Strong experience with SAP and financial operations in a supply chain or FMCG environment.
Qualifications: BCom Accounting Degree (CA(SA) or CIMA certification is advantageous).
