Financial Manager

Oversee the financial management of the group, including tax advice and support to the in-house tax practitioner Provide financial advice to the business and manage the entire financial function of the group Develop and manage annual forecasts and budgets Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts Offer financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making Manage external audits and treasury operations Authorize and review financial reporting and all aspects of transactional accounting (creditors, debtors, expense claims, etc. Ensure compliance with CIPC, direct and indirect taxation returns Review and revise contracts, offer opinions as needed Assist with small acquisitions, start-ups, and due diligence Manage property and tax strategies, and structure plans Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes Be prepared for potential limited travel Lead a small team, maximizing engagement, performance, and deliverables Provide professional support through mentorship and clear communication of roles and responsibilities Create and manage KPIs, provide performance feedback, and assist in personal development plans Ensure clarity of company and team strategy among team members Skills & Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a CA (SA) Strong knowledge of ERP systems and processes, with Sage X3 experience being beneficial Deep understanding of tax laws and current legislation Excellent communication and listening skills Hands-on, business-oriented approach Strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities Qualification: CA (SA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on
