Description Our client, a leader in the IT industry, is currently looking to employ a Financial Manager based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs).The financial manager will have a team of accountants and clerks reporting to them. They will oversee the daily accounting process of the business as well as be responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.As a Financial Manager, you will be expected to provide a high standard of financial and business reports and analysis that will assist the executives in making key decisions for the business.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.Requirements:Minimum 3-5 years' experience (excluding article time).Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with lookups and pivot tables.Experience with SAGE and Pastel Partner.Ability to develop financial and operational models.Matric (required) and bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).SAIPA or CIMA qualification (advantageous). Person Requirements:Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning new concepts and participating in projects.Strong numerical aptitude, positive work attitude, and ability to anticipate workload impacts on team deadlines.Flexibility and ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure and problem-solving skills.Strong account management skills.Required to reside in the Northern Suburbs.Fluent in Afrikaans and English. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:Oversee the daily processing for the finance team.Review of monthly reconciliations.Treasury management.Month-end process completion (including monthly journal preparations).Monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.Prepare and run annual audits and financial statements.Financial analysis.Process improvement.Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.
