Financial Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a BCom / BCom Articles and 7 years working experience at least 5 of them as a Financial Manager to join my client in the Fintech space who operates fully remotely. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions to meet the company's objectives. To apply for this role, you must be available immediately to commence and be based in Cape Town.Responsibilities:Owning the Group's accounting and tax, which includes the preparation and submitting of tax returnsManage accounting team. You will be responsible for performance reviews, salary input and providing coaching and development feedback to those reporting to youReview journals and monthly reconsOversee preparation of Management accountsPayroll review and approvalDrive best practices and process optimization in accounting and internal controlsOptimization of monthly reportingConsolidation of SA and International groupsCompile AFS and be main contact for financial auditOversee debtors and creditors managementInsurance managementPreparation of the Accounting budgetAccounting system integration Requirements:BCom Degree or Equivalent (AGA(SA))Strong finance-based analytical skills7+ years of accounting experienceDemonstrated ability to lead a small teamTechnically astute on accounting and tax developmentsXero experience preferableSoftware/tech industry/SaaS experience preferableAvailable immediatelyIf you have not heard from us 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
