Financial Manager

ASV Farms, situated in the picturesque Hex River Valley close to Worcester, is a true family business which has been involved in grape production and exports for more than a century. The company currently requires the services of a Financial Manager to oversee the financial functions of the group of companies.Specific duties include:Provide strategic input related to finance activitiesFinancial management of the organisations, including creditors, debtors and management accountsLead and manage finance teamStatutory returns and complianceRisk managementFinancial advice to management on cashflow and cash movementsOversee group's fiscal activity, including treasury, budgeting and forecastingFinancial analysis and reportingEnsure compliance with all financial regulations and legislationReview and improve internal financial controlsYear-end audit file preparationOversee payroll function and leave processingRequirements:Relevant post-graduate qualification in AccountingRelevant professional registration (CA / CIMA)Approximately 10 years post articles experienceRelevant experience in the agricultural / table grape industry will be advantageousCommercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitudeStrong attention to detail and accuracyMulti-tasking ability and ability to prioritiseManagement and leadership aptitudeDeadline-orientatedWell-developed communication and administration skillsAn individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mileProfessional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work
