Financial Manager

ASV Farms, situated in the picturesque Hex River Valley close to Worcester, is a true family business which has been involved in grape production and exports for more than a century. The company currently requires the services of a Financial Manager to oversee the financial functions of the group of companies. Specific duties include: Provide strategic input related to finance activities Financial management of the organisations, including creditors, debtors and management accounts Lead and manage finance team Statutory returns and compliance Risk management Financial advice to management on cashflow and cash movements Oversee group's fiscal activity, including treasury, budgeting and forecasting Financial analysis and reporting Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and legislation Review and improve internal financial controls Year-end audit file preparation Oversee payroll function and leave processing Requirements : Relevant post-graduate qualification in Accounting Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA) Approximately 10 years post articles experience Relevant experience in the agricultural / table grape industry will be advantageous Commercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitude Strong attention to detail and accuracy Multi-tasking ability and ability to prioritise Management and leadership aptitude Deadline-orientated Well-developed communication and administration skills An individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mile Professional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work
