Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Financial Manager with the following skills.Minimum Qualifications:BCOM DegreeA suitable relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Financial (or similar)Must be able to work in a Corporate Dealer Group environment Working Experience:Must have over 3 years' experience as a Financial Manager at a Dealership.
Experience with both new and pre-owned cars sales.
Extensive CRM , DMS, Financial and Payroll systems expertise in industry that will allow you to champion the systems and processes needed to drive the financial portfolio.
Advanced excel skills.Digital Literacy:MS Offices: Word, Excel, PowerPointIndustry related platform experience · Accounting softwarePayroll SoftwareKey Areas of Responsibility:Financial control and performance managementPreparation of Budgets and forecast processesIncome and Expense ManagementRisk Analysis and ManagementAssist with internal & external audits across the business Process month-end journals and full recons of balance sheetsPosting of cashbook, creditors & debtors' transactions to the general ledgerAsset Management (Maintain fixed Assets and working assets)Authorize requisitions (payments/credit notes/invoice reversals ect)Daily cashflow managementAudit & F&I Bordeaux reportsManage the sales recon and commission processPrepare and submission of commission sheetsProcess and payroll related mattersDaily audit of petty cash, WIP of both parts & workshop departmentsWorkshop financial management and support- must have experience - not negotiablePrepare management packs, reports of shareholdersBack-end journals (Service, maintenance & warranties supplier invoices)Bank ReconciliationFloorplan ManagementDemo depreciation managementDaily operation cash (DOC), Reporting or ManagementSystems and process champion for the DMS, Financial Systems and Payroll SystemsRole Description:Provides a seamless Financial Management support to the business.Continuously ensuring the financial wellbeing of the business and ensure your team is able to drive as a shared service support function across the business.
