As the Financial Manager, you will oversee financial processes, ensure accurate reconciliations, manage cash flow, and support compliance with industry regulations.
Youll play a key role in consolidating group companies, handling taxation, and supporting month-end processes to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Assist with annual external financial audits.
Capture vendor and debtor invoices on CargoWise and SAGE.
Reconcile vessel agency accounts, vendor accounts, and finished jobs.
Resolve queries with supplier and customer accounts.
Perform general ledger reconciliations at month-end.
Manage taxation calculations and submissions.
Consolidate financial results across group companies.
Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts and ensure banking payments are processed.
Oversee compliance with SARS licenses and industry subscriptions.
Maintain functionality and accuracy of CargoWise systems.
Handle any ad hoc tasks required by management.
Experience & Skills Required: BCom Accounting or related qualification.
5 years experience in financial management, preferably in maritime/logistics.
Proficiency in CargoWise and SAGE systems.
Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
