Financial Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager CA(SA) to join their team based in Johannesburg South. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, with a particular focus on costing, inventory management, and operational finance. This position requires strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing environment, and a solid understanding of financial reporting and operational controls. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with senior management and other departments to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.

Duties:
Lead the costing processes, including product cost analysis, cost allocation, and pricing strategies.
Ensure accurate costing of manufactured goods and the alignment of production costs with profitability goals.
Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate valuation and proper accounting for stock.
Monitor inventory turnover and collaborate with operations to reduce excess stock and improve working capital management.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with operational teams to ensure financial targets are met.
Provide insights on budget variances and recommend actions for performance improvement.

Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
