Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations, including invoicing and accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and local financial reporting.
Implement group finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Group Financial Policies, IFRS and other local regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports to senior management.
Assist with the annual Legal Entity budgeting process and provide financial guidance where required.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely and accurate completion of all audit requirements.
Monitor and analyse accounting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and ensure financial alignment, specifically EMEA Treasury, Real Estate, Accounting and Tax.
Stay current with local industry trends and local regulatory changes to ensure the companys accounting practices remain compliant and effective.
Manage communication with Tax Authorities and External Advisors related to Finance/Accounting matters.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications such as CPA or CIMA.
Extensive experience in financial management, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment, with high exposure to Senior Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven leadership and project management abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and major Microsoft applications (e.g., HFM, SAP, Qlik, Board, etc.).
