Financial Manager

My client is a globally competitive manufacturer and the top producer of unmodified and modified starch, as well as glucose, in Sub-Saharan Africa. The prosperous applicant will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for developing and overseeing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity. Analyze costs and identify areas for cost reduction while maintaining operational efficiency. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide financial insights and address inquiries. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and initiatives. Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance. Assess the financial implications of new projects or investments and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis. Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Honours or CIMA MBA is advantageous SAICA or SAIPA Articles 4-6 years post-articles experience 3 years in a senior or managerial role Proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and board reporting Apply Now
